Meet the hosts
Meet Kevin and Peter.
Kevin and Peter are long-distance best friends who met through ultrarunning, on a Grand Canyon rim-to-rim-to-rim run where they were total strangers with a mutual friend. Kevin is endlessly outgoing and Peter is, well, Peter, but they are both incredibly weird, and that is exactly why it works. They live in different states, think suffering together is a fun way to spend their time, and bring that chemistry to the mic every week.

Kevin Goldberg
200-mile specialist and endurance coach

Kevin Goldberg grew up on Long Island, New York, and had never really run until he met his wife, Melanie, in college. He joined her long runs while she trained for her first marathon, ended up training for the whole thing, and they ran Chicago together in 2011. First trail race came in 2013, first ultra in 2014, first 100-miler in 2015.
After years of running through pain, Kevin learned he had hip impingement in both hips and had two major surgeries to repair them. To prove it was worth it, he ran his first 200-miler, the Bigfoot 200, in 2018. Since then he has finished the Triple Crown of 200s (2019), four Cocodona 250s and the Tor des Géants in Italy. 200-milers are his passion: he loves to run them, talk about them and coach others through them.
